Sign seen at a Trader Joe's Today

Unfortunately, no picture.

But it read, "Our gift cards do not expire, or go down in value."

Clearly someone needs to take an economics class. I asked the checkout-girl about it and she was completely clueless as to why the card's value decreases over time. This gives me great confidence in our educational system.
