Some Accusump Pics

First up is a shot of the accusump mounted to the chassis. No plumbing has been attached yet.

Next is a close up of the top of the unit with plumbing attached. Note that the NPT->AN fitting at the top later leaked and I had to reseal it.

And finally a closer shot of the valve unit at the bottom.

I'd have loved to have got a good shot of the oil line that feeds the block. Unfortunately short of dropping the exhaust and/or the engine that wasn't going to happen. I barely got my hand in there to put the fittings in.

Radiator

A few months ago, I managed to aquire a new radiator for my car. The thing is a work of absolute art. Most aftermarket big radiators I've seen have been piles of crap: MIG welded and epoxied together. This thing is fully TIG welded, no epoxy, and tested to 30psi.

The sad thing is, the radiator sat and sat and sat until I finally found the time to put it in. Well, its in now. Along with a 160° thermostat, new hoses, water wetter, and reprogrammed fans (185 and 195 turn on temps).

I used to see 220-230° water temps on the freeway. Now I see 180-190. Only above 190 when the engine is off and no water is circulating.

Still to go: Plumbing in the oil cooler and accusump.

Heres a pic of the new radiator: radiator
